Wasps Say Nothing In Press Statement

Wasps Rugby Club have issued a press statement saying they cannot say anything about a possible move and purchase of the Ricoh Arena.

The club have said: "We understand how frustrating the current uncertainty is for Wasps supporters. It is not through a lack of desire that we haven’t updated you, it is simply because there is nothing we are able to add to our original statement at this time. This is because the Club’s hands are tied as we are bound by confidentiality agreements.

"When we are in a position to say something, we will communicate to our players and staff, to our supporters and to the media. We appreciate your patience at this time."

The Council are set to vote on whether to sell the Ricoh Arena to the London Wasps consortium, who may in future sell the 90% share to SISU, if certain rumours are to be believed, on Tuesday.
