"Keiren and Leon are great examples of types of players the club needs to take us on to the next level," said Mr Ranson to the club website.
"They are both young and are hungry to improve and we want them to do that here at Coventry City. Both are clearly very much are part of the future for the Republic of Ireland and it's testament to the way they have acquitted themselves in the past 12 months for us that they are in the full international squad.
"So we are all delighted for them and look forward to watching their international progress. Their personal success also reflects well on the club and the rest of the players here - as well as Chris Coleman and his coaching staff.
"As everyone knows, we are working extremely hard behind the scenes to add further players with this type of potential over the summer so we can push on next season."
