Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he and Mark Venus are looking at a number of options regarding the bringing in of new players.
The City boss told the Coventry Telegraph:"I have just been on the phone to Mark Venus, who is making a lot of calls and looking at a few options.
I don’t want to overload the building too much but we’re looking at lots of things.
"It’s where we are but that window will be more important next year because there will be no more emergency loans so once you get your loans in August that will be it.
"There will be no going back to add more.
"There are potential deals to do in the next day or two from the Championship and Premier League.
"Both have slightly different assets.
"We have to make the decision to push the button or not.
"I have a clear picture of what our team needs
"We’re a division one team with some good attributes and plenty of flaws.
"If we can get a better player in it’s my responsibility to this club to do so.”
