There won't be many City supporters at the game who have seen Barnsley win at Coventry, (August 25th 1923 was the last time) but Robins is optimistic that his team can get something from the game.
Speaking to Barnsley's official club website, Robins said: "I am really looking forward to this one.
"The players understand where I am coming from even more so now. We had an important meeting on Wednesday and we have to make sure we take those words on into this weekend's game. We have had time to reflect and we are not too far away from things. It is difficult to say that when you have just lost 3-0 away from home and everybody is disappointed and angry.
"We have an opportunity now to write our own history at Coventry City this weekend. Aidy Boothroyd has got them playing in his way and they have done very, very well this season. They are direct and a threat from set pieces but they also have a lot of quality players. We are looking forward to it and we want to do things right this time".
