Aidy Boothroyd has said that City are a club who cannot afford to turn down good money offers for its players.
Speaking to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, Boothroyd said: "What we're not is a club just in it for the money, if we were then I wouldn't want to be here.
"We are a business, we want to build and not get a half decent team together to just disband it.
Speaking about Keiren Westwood for whom there has been interest but no bids, Boothroyd said: "We are not the type of club that can say no to good offers.
"At the same time, if that offer doesn't come then Keiren will continue to play for us and I'll have a top-class goalkeeper until the end of the season."
