Coventry City's CEO Paul Clouting has refused to comment on the latest story that money has had to be borrow to pay the club's wages in June and keep the club running.
City's current board have borrowed money against the revenue from season tickets and the money that Football League clubs receive from the Premier League in order to keep the club afloat.
Speaking to the CT, Paul Clouting, the chief executive of Coventry City Football Club said, "The club has always said that it will be as transparent as possible when it comes to dealing with supporters, but there are quite obviously areas of commercial sensitivity which we can not go into, and I hope no-one would expect us to."
"The club have made the point that it is unhelpful to conduct our business in public through the media and it can be damaging to our supporters, sponsors, stakeholders, and players, both current and future."
