Coventry City Manager Steven Pressley has said that he is working hard to bring in players. does not want to repeat the mistakes of last season when it comes to bringing in players.
The City boss said to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole : “I know that supporters are fascinated by speculation and sometimes they can fret if they see players signing for other clubs when we haven’t got anybody new on board.
“If this had been me a couple of years ago I’d have been getting a bit itchy-fingered myself. But while I’m not speaking as a hugely experienced manager, because I’ve only been doing the job for four and a half years, I think I understand how the transfer market in England works a little bit better now.
“It’s not a question of getting players in the building it’s getting the right ones. Our supporters can rest assured that we’re working tirelessly to make things happen and I’m confident that we’ll have the squad I want come the start of the season.”
