Kettering Town boss Morell Maison felt that his side asked some questons of the Coventry City team during the game at Rockingham Road which saw City leave with a 1-0 win thanks to Gary McSheffrey's 50th minute close range headed goal.
Speaking to the Bourne Local, Maison said: “It was a good game and a great test for us. “I thought we acquitted ourselves very well as they asked a lot of questions of us.
“But when they were passing the ball around we didn’t let them pick us off and when they went long we defended resolutely.
“We were a bit unlucky not to get something ourselves but, when you look at the quality of players in their side, I’m happy with the way performed.
“I’m sure they went away knowing they had been asked some questions and Andy Thorn (Coventry boss) certainly wasn’t happy with them at half-time.”
