Coventry City forward Roy O'Donovan believes that the Sky Blues can do well this season and will take heart from only losing 1-0 to Leicester City, a team tipped to be title chasers.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, O'Donovan said: "Leicester are supposedly the best team in the league according to the analysts so for us to go out there and put up a performance like that is something to take heart from.
"I thought we really pushed them and were really unlucky to get something out of the game."
O'Donovan blamed opening game nerves for the two red cards in the match and said: "It's the first game of the season, the adrenaline is flowing and it's a local derby which may have gone towards the red cards.
"But we have to put this behind us now and keep doing what we've been doing because if we do that, like we did today, I think we can do quite well this year."
