Coventry City defender Richard Wood feels that despite being bottom of the Championship and three points adrift of second from bottom Doncaster Rovers and seven points behind third from bottom Nottingham, that City can still get out of the mess they are currently in.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Wood said: "We know we can get out of this situation. It is tough to take with the current form we have but it is just silly mistakes and we have to get out of this.
"We have to start concentrating and dig in to get every point we can. When you are down at the bottom, you don't always get the rub of the green but it is up to us to make our own luck.
"We have to become more solid and stick together as players and staff alike come together and battle to stay up. We know we are good enough to get out of this and that's what we will aim to do.”
