Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd feels City can get something from Sunday's Championship game at Queens Park Rangers.

City were beaten 2-0 by the league leaders last month but have not lost at Loftus Road since 2004 and speaking about the QPR game to the CT, the City boss who denied his side would be more cautious in their approach after the balanaced attacking football of the last two matches said: “No, I think it is a game that QPR will think they can win and their league position would suggest that they should win, but it is a game where we have got to be 100 per cent right and stick to what we work on.

“I think it is going yo be an exciting game and it is going to be a tight game but certainly a game we can get something from.”

City had a good go at QPR in the fixture at the Ricoh Arena on December 28th and Boothroyd continued: "We gave them a good hiding in the first half but didn’t score,” he said reflecting on the defeat by Rangers.

“We had great chances but Paddy Kenny was their best player and I am saying that a lot just lately.

“So we can go into that game full of confidence but at the same time we need to prepare properly because they are a good team and the league leaders who are there for a reason.

“They are the team to beat at the moment and they have dipped a little bit as well but because they have got such a great lead people aren’t recognising it so we have to take advantage of that.”
