Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that James Maddison will get there by bit by bit.
Mowbray speaking about the Cov kid to Keiran Crowley at this lunchtime's press conference, said: "We can't burden James Maddison and he's getting there bit by bit.
"We're looking after him so it doesn't all rest on his shoulders. He's a very talented young player and if we can manage his minutes we can develop him and grow him.
"I think he likes football. Some players don't really like it they're just good at it! James knows about tactics of football, is an intelligent bright lad and I'm sure he understands why he was on the bench last night.
"We are pleased with him and I don't worry about James Maddison. He is in love with the game and wants to get better and improve all the time."
