Coventry City loanee James Maddison felt that City did not deserve anything from the 1-0 defeat to Rochdale
“It’s hard to take, losing to a late goal but I don’t think we deserved to come out with anything from the game,” said Maddison to the Coventry Telegraph.
“We’re on a bad run of form at the minute and we need a slice of luck to change it. It’s a case of working hard on the training ground and trying to get a big result at Shrewsbury on Tuesday.
“We had a few chances where we could have scored and I think when you start worrying is when you aren’t creating chances.
"The keeper pulled off a really good save to deny Arma in the first half and I just think we’re not getting a rub of the green at the minute.
“But hopefully our luck will change and we’ll start to do what got us to this position in the first place, and if we do that I am sure we’ll be all right.
“There were so many decisions in the game today that didn’t go our way but the referee had a tough game today and we can’t use that as an excuse.
“We have to stick together at times of crisis; maybe not a crisis but certainly a bad run of form, it’s about getting each other over the line because we’re not just doing it for ourselves, we’re doing it for the city and the club and hopefully we can get each other going again on Tuesday.”
