Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that his side will be taking the Johnstone's Paint Trophy competition seriously.
Knowing that it is unlikely that City will be in the latter stages of the two major competitions in this country, which are continually dominated by Premier League sides, Pressley is targetting a good run in the competition for League One and Two clubs which City are just as capable of winning as any other side.
Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Pressley said: "It is an important competition to us. We want to progress in every cup competition but this competition is different to us than the League Cup and the FA Cup and we like to go as far as we can but winning the competitions would be very difficult for us.
"With the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, winning the competition is a distinct possibility for us."
