Coventry City defensive/midfielder Kevin Kilbane has said City have a lot to work on following their 4-1 defeat to Wrexham on Tuesday.
Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, Kilbane, who spent most of the game chasing shadows said: “It’s disappointing of course, really disappointing.
“All round I don’t think we played well at Wrexham. We allowed them possession and did the basics wrong. We didn’t play well from an attacking perspective or a defensive perspective.
"All round we didn’t pass the ball well so I think nobody could come out of the game with any credit.
“It is something that we will go back over and have a really good look at, and I am sure we have got a lot to work on.
“We have got a lot of talent here and I think everyone recognises that but talent alone doesn’t get you out of the division and I think that’s the message that’s getting to us all now.
"We have got a long way to go to be promotion chasing but we have got the ability to do that, without a doubt.
“It’s going to take a lot of hard work and not just about how good you are on the ball at times.”
