"I think we have got what we need here now," said Boothroyd to the CT's Alan Poole on Friday.
"I'm quite happy that we've got enough depth and quality in the squad so now its all about keeping everybody fit and moulding them into a team, teaching them how to win on a consistant basis.
"As we go through the season, we should get better and better but we'll take it one match at a time.
"What can happen is that one or two people take their foot off the pedal not intentionally - which is where my staff and I come in; standing on people's throats, making sure that they get that winning mentality that makes the difference between being successful and mid-table."
