"This Saturday is a good opportunity for us," Coleman said to the club website.
"Two defeats on the bounce is never good for you but each game is a chance to get back to winning ways and that includes this weekend.
"We've had two weeks away from each other and that's sometimes good and all the lads on international duty have returned fit and in good spirits having performed well for their respective countries but the squad as a whole are generally mentally very tough and they've come back together and trained well which is good to see.
"The last time Bristol City came here they beat us up a bit and we've got to do better than that.
"They've had some big wins and they are in a good position in the league but three points for us could put us in a similar position so we have to focus on getting back on track as soon as possible."
