Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd feels that his side have to avoid making daft mistakes.

Speaking after the 2-1 defeat to Cardiff City, the City boss told Sky Blue Player: "We were a little bit naive at the start. We've got some good players but we've got to put it together.

"We got back into the game and had a real go in the second half to try and win it but with teams like Cardiff if you don't shut the back door you will get punished.

"There were positives to come out of tonight though. Cardiff are a good team and they are a good marker for us and we have to turn dominance like tonight into goals and try and avoid daft mistakes."
