Last Saturday at Ipswich and away to Bristol City, the Sky Blues did just that and Boothroyd told Sky Blue Player at the club's weekly press conference:
"We feel last home game we gave our all and we were disappointed with the result but we've learned you can't switch off and you've got to be at it all of the time.
"You've got to ride bad decisions but we should have got something out of the game and didn't so we have to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and get cracking.
"We've got a good home game against Barnsley now but they are a side that if you don't take care of them they will beat you so we've got to make sure that we're right.
"I know the club has enjoyed some good results against Barnsley in the past but the opposite can be said of Bristol City and Ipswich where we came away with wins and things can change very quickly as we know.
"It's about making sure we have our feet firmly on the pedal from the word going and concentrating on making sure we are winning and you only do that by being consistent and at the same time giving people the respect they deserve."
