"We have been running on zero in terms of injuries and suspensions," said Coleman to the CT.
"The lads have been fantastic to have a run of one defeat in ten but as we have seen in the last couple of games - the first half against Blackpool and the second half against Torquay - that they may be a little bit tired and you can't keep doing that.
"You need to strengthen so whether it is players coming back or a few new faces, it will be good to kick us on and to mix it up a little bit, so we will see what happens.
As we mentioned last night, Sunderland's Jordan Henderson has been linked with City and Coleman is hopeful that he will have two players on loan and one permanent signing by the end of this week.
