"We need to be dogged and we need to be tough because Forest are a good side," said the City boss to Sky Blue Player about facing a side which has not lost at home for fourteen months.
"They've perhaps not had the start to the season that they would have wanted but they got a good result away from home against Watford on Saturday.
"They got to the play-offs last season but we need to bounce back after our defeat on Saturday so we need to be strong.
"Those away games where we got points weren't easy. We needed to be strong, organised and determined and we need that again.
"We have to make sure that we are at it and that we don't feel sorry for ourselves after the weekend but at the same time we can't brush it under the carpet. We need to look at what happened on Saturday and try and put that right against Forest."
