Coventry City’s Gary McSheffrey feels that City must build on the 2-1 win over Leeds United and win some of their other vital games.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, McSheffrey said: "I hope we can build on that result as we have got everyone to play towards the end of the season who are down there with us.
"We must beat the sides around us if we are going to stay up but to beat a good Leeds side really sets us up nicely.
"Like I say, we have to go to Forest and get a result. We have Barnsley at home and Portsmouth at home coming up, and they are massive games for us.
"Doncaster and Millwall are also due to come here so I think it is in our own hands as if we beat them, then we are taking points off them as well as gaining some.
"It is up to us and if we can perform like we did tonight, there is no reason why we can't stay up."
