Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that City must improve after their escape from relegation by a post at Stoke City and the heroics of Carlo Nash at the end of last season.
Speaking to the club website, Chris Coleman said: "There is almost an unspoken agreement that we must do better than last year. Last year was the worst way to finish even though we stayed up. There's an edge to the players and we've got to keep that up.
"We will continue to try bringing in players in this window and the next window because it's important the club keeps progressing. But I didn't enjoy finishing last season in the way we did, it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth to be honest. But we are aiming to put that right.
"The new lads are fitting in extremely well. The boys already here have welcomed in the new faces and they are integrating well into the squad in terms of personality and what they have to offer us on the field. "It couldn't have gone any better so far.
