Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Platt said: "Ipswich have started well and they are a good team and it will be a tough test but we have been good away from home as well so I'm really looking forward to the challenge.
"We want to keep the momentum going and we woudl have liked the international break to come at another time but we've been working hard on the training pitch to try and get things right so that should stand us in good stead.
"The manager has told us the team is a work in progress and we're only going to do that work in training and then trying to go out and put it into the games.
"September was a good month for me last month with a couple of goals and I want more goals and assists but I would happily trade them for a couple of wins."
