Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said City need a man in to help and Hermann Hreidarrsson is that man.
A move to bring the Portsmouth defender to Coventry City on a free transfer is expected to be completed within the next couple of days and Thorn told the CT: “He brings experience, a presence in both boxes and he’s a leader in a position that we need covering.
“We can’t keep patching things up with people. We need a man in there who is going to help us get out of this situation, which he has been in before and got out of, so it will be good to have him here.
“He’s still very fit and a really strong lad who will bring us vital experience in a position we have struggled with. I need men now, and he’s one.”
