Coventry City Development Officer Steve Waggott has said that the club needs everyone back supporting them.
Speaking to Aidan McCartney of the Coventry Telegraph, Mr Waggott said: "At the end of the day, there are 22 players and one pitch. At Sixfields, we lost a lot of fans understandably.
"We now need every single Coventry City Football Club fan to come back and support the team.
"It's time for the club to unite and get back to winning games of football with the club in the city.
"I'm a footballing guy...I understand why the fans didn't want to go to Sixfields."Players, managers, owners...they all come and go. Fans are for life.
"Whatever happened in the past, let's forget it and get back to supporting Coventry City Football Club.
"The important people here are Steven Pressley and his team. Not me.
"There is a juncture to move on quickly.
Criticise whoever, but keep supporting the team on the pitch."
