Coventry City manager Russell Slade has admitted that he needs help with bringing in players who can help the Sky Blues steer away from their seemingly head on collision with relegation to League Two.
Speaking after the 4-1 defeat at Bristol Rovers, Slade told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: “I know the size of the task now – that’s my overriding emotion.
“We’ve got a big job on and January is going to be crucial – pivotal to whether we can get to safety or not.
“We’ve been making inquiries everywhere because we need some help, there’s no doubt about that.
“That was my view after just a couple of training sessions with the lads.
"That’s my job now along with Mark Venus and the scouts, to get the players who can play a part in making us safe this season."
