Speaking after Coventry City's 2-1 defeat to Watford on Saturday, City's goalscorer in that match said to Sky Blue World: "I felt we did enough to get something out of the game because I thought we were the better team in the first half.
"It's hard to take that we lost because I thought we did enough to get at least a point.
"We're a young team and we've got to keep on going. We're all talented players and the young lads are exceptionally talented but we need to make sure we can grind out results.
"Their 'keeper made some great saves, including one from me, and you know it's difficult in those kinds of conditions, especially for goalkeepers and defenders because the ball can do anything."
