Martin Cranie has said that Coventry City supporters were saying leaving the Ricoh Arena after the 2-1 home defeat to Nottingham Forest in that the Sky Blues need to stop conceding sloppy goals.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Cranie said: "I think the two goals we conceded were pretty sloppy to be fair but having said that we pressed Forest well in the secoind half, we had all the possession and play and I think we deserved something out of the game.

"For the second goal their player pulled up with what looked like a hamstring and everything seemed to stop just before the goal but you've got to play to the whistle.

"With the goals we've been conceding recently I think we've been beating ourselves up because they haven't really come from great passages of play.

"We need to eradicate those kinds of goals and the sooner we do that the sooner we will pick up points.

"Saturday away to Leeds is going to be a massive game for us. There will be a big crowd there so we've got to get over this game quickly because it's gone now and we need to look to put things right sooner rather than later."
