City have three matches remaining starting with Barnsley at home tonight and Coleman told the CT: "It can go one of two ways. "We have got to make our minds up in the last three games because at the minute we are playing well in one half and poor in the other, with the exception of the Palace game.
"It could lift a bit of pressure and we will see a bit more flair or they will think the season is done. But I hope we don't see the latter.
"We owe that to the other teams and to our supporters as well who turned out on Saturday and were pleased with the first half and then got let down. So it has happened again, they have been built up and built up and then let down.
"It was funny when I came in yesterday a few of the lads were thinking, 'Phew! We are not going to get sucked in.'
"But the players we have got fit are looking round wondering what we will do if any more players get injured.
"I don't think the lads are thinking 'let's get to the end of the season' because we have still got two good home games and still got a say in who goes down.
"Not that we want to send anyone down, but it is important that we finish strong.
"It's a funny mood. They trained well yesterday when we wrapped them up in cotton wool because god forbid we get any more injuries."
