Coventry City captain Sammy Clingan felt that his players ran through brick walls for each other during the 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
Speaking about the win against his former side which lifts City to 19th in the table, Clingan said to Sky Blue Player: Clingan said: "We dug in deep today. Every single one of the lads ran through brick walls for each other. The manager is happy we got the win as in other games we have conceded late goals.
"It is a good thing that we haven't done that today and I'm sure that has given the lads a lot of confidence now.
"We have got Leeds on Tuesday and if we could get a win there and maybe go on a little run that would be great.
"We've played some good football during different spells this season and haven't got what we deserve. It was good to bounce back today as we didn't play well against Barnsley. We let the supporters down and let ourselves down but this response was really good.
"It was tough as we wanted to bounce back straight away after Barnsley but I think it gave the manager a chance to sit down with us and work in training.
"Every single one of us has faith in the manager and his work, and now we are all pleased with the win."
