SISU's representative on Coventry City's Board Onye Igwe has said that the Sky Blues will be involved in the loan market which opened this morning but City will wary of quantity over quality.

Speaking to the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter: Mr Igwe said:"We have plans to do more in the loan market, but we should be aware of quantity over quality.

"I think the current squad is better in quality than the quantity we had last year so we don't want to add just for sake of adding more bodies and Andy would agree.

"We want to make sure we get the right people in that are complimentary to what we already have, but this is a great opportunity for our youth players.

"We aren't thinking about relegation, we are thinking about how we are going to get higher and higher up the league."
