Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Carsley, who was as guilty as every other City player in not contesting the second ball which allowed Forest to have much of the play, said: "I was disappointed with the end result because I thought we deserved to get something out of the game but at the same time I don't want to be stood here every week talking about how we played well but lost.
"The good thing about this league is that there is always another game around the corner and another chance to get yourselves back on track so we need to go to Palace on Saturday and try to get a result.
"There's still alot of work on the training ground to do. The manager has said that and he wants to go back to basics with us and get us doing what we do well again."
