"Barnsley have been playing very well so we knew it was going to be hard and I thought we thoroughly deserved the three points," said Coleman to the media after the game.
Leon Best scored a stunning goal from a freek kick to put City ahead and Coleman said "Leon practises free-kicks every day in training and he despatched it in the best way."
After only two games, Coleman is not getting carried away and added: There are another 44 games to go so there's a long way to go. "We've got a better feeling in the squad than last year, but we still need to improve and I'm hoping to bring one or two in."
