Coventry City captain Carl Baker has said that he wants Tottenham Hotspur to field their strongest side against the Sky Blues in the Third Round of the FA Cup tomorrow.
Speaking about the clash at White Hart Lane which sees eleventh in League One City take third in the Premier League Spurs, Baker told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner; “I want them to field a full-strength side because you want to test yourself against the best players in the world and they have some of the best. We’ll go down and give it everything we have got.
“It will be similar to when we went to the Emirates earlier in the season, which was tough, but I think we are a bit better equipped now so hopefully we will give a better account of ourselves.
"We’re not going to make the numbers up, we want to give it a good go. A few of the fans have mentioned the FA Cup final and hopefully we can go there and make them proud. I can’t even get tickets for my wife and kids so that shows how fast they sold out.”
