Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said he wants to keep the younger players.
Pressley said at this morning's press conference to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole and James Rodger: " "Borussia Dortmund went into the wilderness and came back after growing their own talent and the rest is history. The top clubs develop their own - Premier League football is not a good example.
"We want to keep our young players. We have to keep hold of them - otherwise, there's no point blooding them and developing them just to sell.
"We need the correct experienced players dotted around for the younger lads, too. Simeon Jackson is a fine example.
"The hardest part of my job is telling young players they aren't good enough for a contract. It's not easy."
