The striker joined City from Wolves in July and his playing has raised supporters expectations of a goals feast from the Welsh international.
Speaking to Sky Blue World, Eastwood said: "All it takes is for one to go in off your backside. It's something small like that that can spark off the goals.
"We have to go to Blackpool on Saturday and take the chances we have been missing in other games and put some of them in the back of the net.
"We've been doing it in training so we need to put that onto the pitch. I've missed a couple myself but I'm confident that if we all keep going the goals will come.
"We've been playing well like at Preston, Sheffield United where we should have got three points, and QPR who are one of the favourites for promotion this year so if we stick at what we are doing I'm certain the goals will come."
