Coventry City manager Aidy Bothroyd has said that he won't get carried away with the Sky Blues 2-1 victory at Ipswich Town this afternoon.

Speaking after what was City's best away performance of the season and possible the best performance of the season so far, Boothroyd told the Press Association: "It was a tough game.

"Ipswich are where they are for a reason but I thought we were the better team in the first half.

"Lukas' goal (which crossed the line but wasn't given) was a goal but the officials don't have the benefit of goalline technology.

"It's my turn to complain about that again.

"It would make such a difference but you have to get on with it and can't blame the referee. These things even themselves out.

"In the first half we also hit the crossbar, created a lot of chances and put them under a lot of pressure.

"But in the second I thought they were the better team.

"We hit the post but it was one of those where we had to defend for our lives and you have to do that in the Championship. We did it really well.

"It was a good three points but we won't be getting too excited."
