Coventry City defender Richard Wood has said that all the players won't let the rumours doing the rounds distract them.
In a week, where rumour after rumour has been flying round and City Boss Andy Thorn was forced to deny one particular rumour which had spread on Twitter and the club's own Facebook page on Wednesday that he had quit, Wood has told the CT that the players won't let distractions like this put them off trying to get three points.
Speaking to the CT, Wood said: "I don't get involved with Twitter. "I don't know where it was all coming from and why people did it but that's what can happen these days even if it's not true.
"It's difficult for the cub as a whole but the players, staff and management are all together. We won't let the off-field stuff and speculation distract us and hopefully we can show against Forest that we are even stronger as a group - a tight unit, working for each other and giving 100 per cent.
"Forest have had a few problems of their own, but we have got to concentrate on what we do and play how we know we can rather than how we did against Barnsley."
