Coventry City defender Andy Webster has said that the City players are not bothered about the speculation linking Steven Pressley to the Huddersfield Town job.
Webster told Alan Poole of the Coventry Telegraph: “Football is a small world and it’s inevitable that people are going to take notice of the manner in which the manager has gone about things here.
“We take it all with a pinch of salt, just as when players get linked with other clubs. Names get bandied about every day, but until something’s signed nothing’s a foregone conclusion. And sometimes managers will talk with a club and decide it’s not for them.
“The longer he continues here the better the chance the club will get success and that’s what everybody wants.
"To take the club from where it is to where it wants to be is a big ask but I’m sure it’s one he’ll relish – putting his stamp on the football club and getting the boys to play in the manner he wants them to play.”
