Coventry City captain Carl Baker has said that the City players will be fine for tomorrow night's League One game at Leyton Orient.
“I was absolutely shattered on Friday night and quite a few of the lads were saying that as well because they’d put so much into it,”said Baker to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner after the 4-0 defeat to Arsenal on Friday night.
“But because it was a Friday game we have had an extra day to recover. We had massages and ice baths on Saturday as part of our recovery so we’ll be fine for Tuesday.
“It’s a massive game. We beat them at home but have lost a couple of times at their place already this season in the cups, but these are the types of games that if we want to push up into the play-offs that we have to go there and get a result.
“Tiredness at this stage of the season is no excuse because we’ve been training hard all season and we should be the fittest we are likely to be, so I am sure we’ll recover in time for Leyton Orient and hopefully go down there and get a positive result.”
