Coventry City supporters were snapping up tickets for the club's EFL Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday April 2nd today.
There were long queues at the ticket office at the Butts Park Arena, which was for disabled supporters and those without credit or debit cards who could not book on line over the phone and the queues were added to by those who could not get through over the phone.
City only had two staff serving tickets although a third was opened for disabled supporters and were urging those able to do so to book their tickets on-line.
It has been reported that 11,000 tickets out of the 39,411 initial allocation had already been sold by 2pm to away season ticket holders, season ticket holders and PSL holders.
By 5pm that figure had risen to 15,000 with the club claiming 90% were done on line.
