Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that he is looking forward to his side playing Bury at home on Saturday.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player's Nick Connoll, the City manager said: "We're looking forward to Saturday because we need to go on and get some wins under our belt. We've had a solid start and now we need to get victories.

"Bury will come to the Ricoh and be up for it and they knocked us out of the cup last season so I think we owe them one a bit. They've lost their captain who got sent off in the week and that will be a blow for them but they are a hard outfit to beat.

"They play two banks of four and are difficult to break down so we need to be patient but we are without doubt getting better as a team, I think we saw that on Tuesday against Sheffield United and we'll get even better than that because there's a long way to go.

"You never stop learning what you are capable of and that's why we cam e back to pre-season as early as we did. I always had a good idea but you learn even more as the season progresses and that's coming together for us."
