SISU's representative on Coventry City's Board Onye Igwe has claimed that SISU are not asset strippers.
Speaking to the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter, Mr Igwe said: "SISU buy to build where nobody else wants to invest so to say we are asset strippers is completely wrong.
"Everything we do is build and grow and that's what we are doing at Coventry, but we know we need to communicate that message better starting from now.
"We've had a lot of progress. We're strengthening the commercial team, we've reorganised the way we work internally and the relationship between the academy and the first team here has improved.
"We're supporters as well. We understand what the fans are going through, we feel it and also want this football club to be successful."
