Kieren Westwood will miss Saturday's trip to Norwich for Coventry's last game of the season as he recovers from a shoulder injury.
Westwood missed City's last home game of the season when Reading were he visitors. The Sky Blues third choice goal keeper, 19 year old Michael Quirke played and kept a very creditable clean sheet in the 0-0 draw.
The news yesterday that Westwood would miss Ireland Euro qualifying game against Macedonia in June as well as the earlier Home International games with Wales and Scotland at the end of May means he will not be fit to play for Coventry City at Norwich.
With speculation rife that Westwood is not going to sign the offered new contract with The Sky Blues and that he will move on in the summer to pastures new, it now looks highly likely that he as played his last game for Coventry City.
Westwood's departure form Coventry will come as a blow, not only to the club, but to his previous club Carlisle United who would have received part of any transfer fee as there was a sell on clause when he moved from Cumbria to Coventry.
