West Bromwich Albion are the latest in a long line of potential suitors for the signature of Coventry City's highly rated goal keeper Keiren Westwood.
Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo is thought to want some high quality competition for his number one 'keeper Scott Carson and he thinks Westwood would fit the bill. His other option is former City loan 'keeper Marton Fulop.
The economics of signing either of the two goal keepers is simple. Westwood would command the higher transfer fee, which might be attractive to Coventry City's chairman Ray Ranson and his yet to be named new manager, but his wage demands might be a lot less than the established Premiership 'keeper Fulop.
Sunderland are also still thought to be looking at Westwood, but whether the Irish international goalie would be prepared to play second fiddle and spend most of his time on a bench is questionable. He has repeatedly said he is happy at Coventry City and wants to extend his contract with them.
