Coventry City's talented 25 year old goal keeper Keiren Westwood has once again said he has no desire to leave the club, despite continually being linked with big money moves to the Premiership.
City chairman Ray Ranson has begun talks with Westwood's agent with a view to extending his contract which has a year to run.
Westwood told The News of the World, "I have another year left and will play it by ear. Obviously this is an important time for any footballer because everything is windowed in terms of transfers. So this is a window of opportunity."
"It is out of my hands so to speak. The club is in talks with me over a new deal and I am very happy there. I know there is speculation about me but I don't pay a lot of attention to it - and unless the chairman or my agent rings me to say we can do this or that, then I am not going to do anything."
