Coventry City keeper Keiren Westwood has over-come his flu virus and will be ok to face Burnley at the Ricoh Arena tomorrow.

Westwood was forced to withdraw from the Republic Of Ireland's friendly in Dublin with Norway earlier this week but has recovered and will be in the Sky Blues starting line up which takes on the Clarets in a Championship match at 3pm tomorrow.

City boss Aidy Boothroyd said to the CT: “Keiren was in yesterday and the doctor gave him the all clear, so we will take it nice and steady and wrap him up in cotton wool and he’ll be fit for the match.

“Aron Gunnarsson has been away with Iceland and he was due back this morning when I will have a look at him to see if he’s fresh or whether the travelling or game has affected him and David Bell has got another week of training under his belt and he will come back into the squad. After the start to the season he has certainly shown me what he is capable of, but like all players it is a question of getting that consistency now.

“We can all be good once in a while but it is about being good over a season. I like him as a character and it is now a matter of him putting a run of games together and getting himself back into the team.”
