Coventry City goal keeper Kieren Westwood has admitted he is glad the January transfer window has finally closed so he can now concentrate on playing football.
Westwood, currently in Dublin with the Republic of Ireland squad preparing to take on Wales tonight, refused to blame the speculation surrounding his future for a few rare mistakes he has made recently, although he did admit it had been on his mind.
He said to the CT: "It's been on my mind recently but I can't make any excuses for my game and I have got to be strong enough to take the criticism because it can't all be rosy for you."
"Nothing happened in the window in the end. There might have been a few phone calls but there were no bids and I'm still a Cov player."
