Coventry City's highly rated goalkeeper, Kieren Westwood has given his opinions about why he think th Sky Blue are doing so well at the moment.
On Wednesday evening he was in the Republic of Ireland squad facing Brazil, but now he is preparing to face the equally daunting, bottom of the table Peterborough.
The 25 year old Westwood said, "The team spirit is frightening at the minute and I am just glad I can contribute to it. That comes from both the characters in the team and the run we have had, but that run has come about because of the spirit the lads have put together and everyone is enjoying it."
"It has been a big week for me, up against Brazil at the Emirates which was a fantastic occasion, and I am just privileged to be part of the squad. I am back for Peterborough which will be a really tough game but these are the ones we want to be winning. We have been going about things well recently so we are all looking forward to it."
Westwood is not alone in his thinking, midfielder Aron Gunnarsson agreed, saying, "We kept on going on Saturday and everyone could see that the morale and team spirit is unbelievable at the moment."
"Coming in after the game everyone was screaming and shouting for joy in the dressing room and I hope that we continue to do those good things and working hard so we can feel like that after every game. We are bonding more than we did last season and it is just great to be part of that and the gaffer enjoys it with us.
"He is one of the lads and everyone is enjoying it and everyone is playing their part, including the lads on the bench. Freddy Eastwood came on and worked his socks off, as did Gary Deegan when he went on, so everything is going well and we have to keep it going and get three points every week."
Sky Blues skipper Stephen Wright added his thoughts, saying, "We are delighted because we are creeping up the league and the togetherness at the club at the minute is excellent. We have got confidence in abundance and you can see that among the players."
"You look at it and think that these next couple of games are going to be harder than the ones we have just had, but with the togetherness and confidence that we have got, we have got to go into these games thinking we have got to win the home games at least.
"The danger is going to bottom of the league because you just never know and they are the really tough games. It is a case of how much we want to put into it and move up the league, but the boys are really enjoying it at the minute and I think you can see that."
